We chose Yunokawa Prince Nagisatei because it was highly recommended on Tripadvisor and to be honest, I didn't regret it at all. The hotel is located not too far away from the airport and it took us about 1700JPY by cab to the hotel. Its certainly not cheap but it was the best and fastest way to get out of... More

I booked a Japanese room with outdoor bath at the balcony facing the ocean. The hotel tatami was using Tempur mattress and pillows and we had the best sleep in the Hokkaido trip. The breakfast was fantastic and we sat beside the window where you could see snowing during the winter season. The public onsen was very spacious and clean.... More

stayed in this ryokan for a night and we are very impressed with their fantastic service. the only drawback of the ryokan is that it is situated far from JR hakodate station and is only accessible either by the tram or bus. though we had a little difficulty in getting there, but once we got off the tram and were... This hotel is directly on the beach, although the beach is nothing to look at and seems to be very industrial in nature. The buildings on either side of the hotel are industrial as well. We stayed in a Japanese/Western room facing the ocean with a private outdoor ofuro. The room was dated, with blankets instead of duvets on the... More

Wonderful (yet pricey) ryokan. We booked their best room with see-view and thermal bath-tub on the room balcony, Simply amazing. The food was delicious and typical of Hokkaido. The lack of internet connection is the only shortcoming (although it is nice to relax and forget about everything else) More

We do not mind the building being a bit old, anyway the hotel is big and clean. Wonderful seaview + sunset + private outdoor. sumptuous dinner! All in all a good experience :) More

The hotel is big and clean. However, when we arrive the hotel, my wife shows her uneasy for this comparatively old building. When she get into our room, she is attracted by the wonderful seaview + sunset + personal hotspring inside the room. No matter how old the building, the view won't change. Simiply count on the price, the room... More

After staying in so many hotels in Japan, I have to say that Yunokawa Prince Nagisatei is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. We arrived at the hotel late in the mid afternoon after a 3 and a half hour train ride from Sapporo (plus the bus ride to a hotel). The check-in process was quite fast... More

I stayed in a Japanese style room with private seaview hotspring. The view was excellent!! The sea birds flying in front of me .... On the next morning, the snow flied into our onsen ... The food was good, although can be better. But in this price, to have a private seaview hotspring, it the cheapest I can find in... More

Though its pretty expensive (abt USD200 per room) but my wife and I like being served by attentive staff who will go the extra mile to delight foreign travellers like us. The check-in was a breeze, the dinner was fantastically good with lots of Japan cuisine goodies e.g. seafood deights like hairy crabs, scallops, salmon, tuna; yummy desserts, noodles to... More
