Have stayed in this hotel twice, first for a day in March 2005 and then for 4 days in February 2010.
Was a nice hotel, located at a 5 mins. walking distance from the metro station. Chiba downtown is also situated closeby, some 15 mins. walk from the hotel.

This hotel is just 15min by train from Makuhari Messe and is a decent option if you do not get the hotels near the Messe.
Rooms are slightly cramped up but still better than the pigeon-hole sized rooms in most hotels in Makuhari area !
It is an elegant hotel with traditional French style decor and mainly frequented by Japanese...

We used the Okura Hotel in Chiba as a base for a 2 week holiday, visiting my son, in Japan. I actually spent 6 nights in total at this Hotel on 3 seperate visits within the 2 weeks holiday.
