Spent the day here with a Japanese business partner. Very traditional Japanese, including hot bath and traditional Japanese dinner. Rooms are small, especially the bathroom. Rooms are clean. Rates are somewhat expensive.

We did not actually stay the night at the hotel- we took a daytrip from Tokyo to Hakone, and wanted to visit an onsen. I researched hotels beforehand and this is one of the few that allowed non-guests to use their onsen (for a charge, and you have to arrive before 3 PM according to their website). We bought the...

Was at Hotel Green for 2 days. i can only say that for the price, i deserved better facilities, service, food, room quality..etc
no one cared about us traveling almost 1 hr and then wondering for another 15 mins around the bus stop area looking for directions to the hotel.. when we finally reached the lobby, we were expecting someone...

We bought a 3-day Hakone cable car ticket and this hotel is right at the Obako stop of the cable car route. It was our anniversary treat so we booked the biggest suite of the hotel. We broguht our daughter along and we figured out that sicne they charge a per person rate for this big suite, it worked out...

This hotel really made you feel as if you were in a lovely, isolated area. In fact, it was SO isolated it didn't even have Internet. And when that's all you have to communicate with the outside world, including possible emergencies, it's sorely missed.
That's the only complaint I have about the facilities. The lobby is beautiful and elegant, with...

We booked a room for four and stayed at Hakone Green Plaza for 1 night. This was recommended by the Odakyu Travel as I wanted to stay near Togendai to take the pirate ship the following day. We paid 10,500yen/person. Was encouraged by the agent to take a room with Mt Fuji with extra charge. Thank God we didn’t as...

This is the best hotel to see Fujiyama.
The best view is from ROTEN BURO, out side bath atached to public hot spring bath area. If you arrive before five in the evening, lady's bath has purprise compliment of free sake. Fuji-san can be seen from the garden in front of breakfast room as well. Although it all depends on...

It took me almost 4 hours to arrive at the hotel (from airport), and I only stayed for one night, but it is really worthy. The location is good, the hotel is quiet, clean, with Fuji Mount view, and people there are nice too. Just a little bit pricy.

My wife & I stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is excellently located for Lake Ashi and is barely a hundred meters from the cable car ropeway station. When arriving/leaving the hotel with luggage the hotel does offer a shuttle service to the station too.
The staff were very friendly and service on the whole was very good.
The...

We stayed there for 2 nights on the 7 & 8 April. Initially, we planned to stay at a hotel neat Hakone Yumoto. We had no regrets choosing this location as it enabled us to explore much more and covered a wider area in Hakone and Kawaguchiko in 2 days. We arrived at Kawaguchiko taking the first bus out from...
