“Stay in May '11 - good hotel but spotty Wi-Fi”

Overall, I was fairly pleased with the hotel. The location is literally walking distance from the Malaysian immigration / custom building to cross over to Singapore. The room was well-kept and clean. My only gripe is that Wi-Fi was very spotty. I had a lot of problem getting and staying online. But in all in all, it's a decent hotel. More

“Practical Accomodation With a Friendly Athmosphere”

“simple hotel, ideal location”

we stayed here 3 nights, visiting everyday Singapore. staying in JB is 50% cheaper than in Singapore BUT...!!.. BAD IDEA the trains and busses are very near of that hotel, but passing customs, crossing bridge and taking metro takes at least 90min to reach the center of Singapore... so you lose everyday like 3-4 hours on the way... i would... Our main purpose for this hotel is our trip to Universal Studios in Singapore. If you have a similar purpose, then this hotel is just perfect. I stayed in Johor Bahru on a weekend travel out of Singapore. Citrus Hotel is located right across from City Square Mall, and easy 5 minute walk to the causeway to Singapore. The breakfast buffet and staff were fantastic. The food was so-so, but with the basics well represented -- fried noodles, fried rice, eggs, fruit, and coffee. More

Reception staffs are friendly and attentive. The deco of the room is simple but comfy. Two pillows for a queen bed are not enough. The room doors are not sound-proof though. I could hear the staff chatting away accross the hallway. This went on for almost half an hour. Not an ideal hotel if you want to sleep. More
