We were picked up from the bus station by Mr. Lee and taken to his guesthouse. It was a few kms outside of the city but that didn't matter because Mr Lee gave us a lift into town for our dinner in the evening and then picked us up again later on (for free). The guesthouse was in a quiet... More

We slept at Lee Guesthouse one night in our way to Perhentians. The house is quiet, pleasant, clean and good price. And Mr. Lee made our way to the island run very smoothly by providing us with his transport services. I don't know wether the location is convenient for someone visiting Kota Barhu. More

Mr Lee was just great, he met us at the train station as promised - wow! He was very kind and took us into town so we could get some dinner and then kindly picked us up again afterwards. He organised us a taxi in the morning to take us to the Thai boarder. He was very friendly and spoke... More

After reading all the other reviews, mentioning Mr. Lee by name so many times, we could hardly believe this guy was real! Having met him we now know he is real. Not superhuman, just a really friendly, kind, intelligent guy. His guesthouse is in a suburban residential area, maybe 5km from town centre but Mr. Lee happily drove us downtown... More

Mr Lee went out of his way to look after us and to provide us with transport to and from town as it is a bit out of the city. There are good food stalls within a few minutes walk and the biggest and cleanest mega supermarket we have ever seen. We had an air con family room though there... More

We stayed one night with Mr. Lee in July, and he was super lovely - dropping us in town and collecting us again afterwards, and then taking us to the airport the following day. He laid out a tasty breakfast spread for us and couldn't have been more welcoming. The accommodation was basic, but the aircon meant it was plenty... More

We stayed in Kota Bharu for one night in between the Perhentians and Taman Negara and were very impressed by Lee Guesthouse. Mr Lee has just purchased a new property and has renovated it- it has 4 bedrooms, a lounge/reception area, a kitchen and a large bathroom. We were impressed with the Guesthouse and had a comfortable night's sleep. In... More

My friend and I did a quick overnight at Lee Guesthouse as we were heading to the Perhentians early the next morning. Mr. Lee picked us up from the airport and he helped us change money before we left for the ride back to his house. The guesthouse is 30 minutes from the airport and it was a cool experience... More

I and my family enjoyed staying at Lee Guesthouse for 3 nights. To my surprised Mr. Lee called when we were at LCCT Airport offering whether we would want him to pick us up from Kota Baru Airport as he was sending a guest off almost the same time of our arrival. I agreed and without knowing its a compliments... More
