What i like about the hotel: Quaint setting that is very convenient in the heart of Georgetown. You could access very easily to delicious chicken rice and street food. Within walking distance to the malls. If you are there on Sunday can even pop by to the churches nearby for service. Buses are easily accessible and very frequent. I like... More

I stayed in room 105 on the ground floor. It was clean and everything actually worked. Comfortable. I had the lunch, dinner, and breakfast buffets. All were ok. I'd rate them as average. Since this was the hotel that came along with the Visa Run package it could have been much worse. I've heard many are. There's nothing to do... More

The Blue Diamond changed a lot. We had a pleasant and slightly overrated stay over chinese new year. Very good and clean rooms, nice building. Big breakfast buffet included. Good place to stay for a few nights. Would recommend it to all.

Lovely decorations all around the place. Just walk outside will be a bus stop, suitable for those who are travelling without a car. You may park outside the hotel if there is any parking lot, or you may park just across the road but with a fee. At night, you can walk around the hotel, plenty food courts and restaurants... More

The reception area and walk way to the rear courtyard is charming with ornate ceilings and intricate paint work, a lovely welcome to an interesting hotel. We were greeted with a friendly smile and apologies for not being able to stay in the room we had booked. We were shown to a room in the courtyard. It was clean and... More

We didn`t expect any luxury, but surprisingly, when we opened the door, it was above expectation. Very modern and spacious, with a lay-out of a 4 star hotel, we couldn`t have asked for any better. The buffet was decent and the service friendly. The location is perfect when visiting some of the attractions, which can be reached within walking distance.

I stayed here for 1 night with friends and it was ok.. Their breakfast was ordinary. We had problem during taking a bath since the divider for that bathrrom and the room was just a stained glass. So everytime we open the light, we can see silhoutte of the person using the bathroom. It's a problem since we have a... More

We spent one night here and paid 218RM for the place, it was over our budget and we would have loved to have stayed another if we could afford it. We got good wifi, aircon, comfy bed and great pillows, hot shower and private toilet. And breakfast! Breakfast is crazy tho because it was packed to the rafters with people... More

We spent four nights at the Banana Boutique Hotel between Christmas and New Year. On arrival, we were charmed by the restored heritage building, and the very conveniently located bar/restaurant at the front. The rooms were fairly basic, but clean and comfortable, and fresh water and a newspaper were delivered each day (though it took us a couple of days... More
