We werethe only 2 people on the island for the first 2 nights..... great you would thik but the staff seemed to take this as no one staying so not working! Resort itself needed updating. Loved the monekys and monitor lizards!

The place would be not too bad, but the food is terrible, we had rats in the room at night, it was expensive and the personnel was not so nice. Forget to go there, especially with the family, much better the other resort on Pulau Tiga island, we went there by foot and seemed to be a dream as a... More

We arrived on Survivor Island (Pulau Tiga) late afternoon, and immediately went for a swim in the warm water of the bay. The beach had full sun at this time of day, but there are many places just off the beach to relax in hammocks etc. in the shade of the trees. I had my camera ready to capture the... More

I spent 4 days at Borneo Survivor Resort with my boyfriend and I have to say I have expected much more! Of course, the island is very beautiful: it is covered by rainforest and monitor-lizards and makaques show up every time you leave your room. The beach is not so nice and the sea seems to be pretty cloudy all... More

We stayed here with our family a few times since we live in Malaysia. We think it is a beautifull place with an amazing beach and snorkeling. However it did go down hill in the last few years. The beach was not as clean (found a number of fresh looking condoms) and the reef was not as good anymore. The... More

We spent two days on Pulau Tiga, staying in the Borneo Survivor Resort, and had the most unique and enjoyable experience in our lives! We had been doubtful at first about staying in a less well-known resort compared to another established one on the other side of the island, but after all the adventures there, we've promised each other we'll... I thought I would write a quick review on this resort since it has been over one year since it has been reviewed. To begin with, it did not seem like much has changed in the year since the last review was written. Like a previous reviewer, we were the only ones at the resort the day we were there.... More

We just returned from a week's vacation in KK, and whilst there, we took a side-trip to Pulau Tiga, an island off the coast of Malaysia and stayed at the Borneo Survivor Resort. From what was meant to have been a day's visit turned out to be a night stop-over - we were so taken back with the place, we... More

Hi, have you been to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah? If yes, I'm pretty sure you have visited Tunku Abdul Rahman Park which consists of Pulau Gaya, Manukan, Sapi, Sulug & Mamutik. Most people will choose this place because it's easily accessible by speedboat from KK town. But for me, I have planned my island trip to Pulau Tiga and I never... More
