Just returned form Filitheyo after having a wonderful holiday! We were a little worried about going as we had been to the Maldives a long time ago and were concerned it wouldnt be as magical! How wrong we were, it was fabulous!!There were a few niggles but nothing that spoiled the holiday in the slightest. The house reef is awsome with an... More

Our criteria when choosing a resort was basically.... Must include seaplane travel, nearby reef, Asian influenced chef, plenty of choice for vegetarians, value for money, half board option, multi aged and multi cultural, friendly, not geared up totally for AI or families, not too big or too small, not pretentious, plenty of greenery and not too much concrete. All of... More

Returned earlier this week from my first trip to the Maldives during which my partner and I were seeking a relaxing experience before diving into the wonderful chaos of Sri Lanka. Filitheyo was our choice given our desire to escape the Male atolls and experience the awesome seaplane entry into this amazing island nation, the diving/house reef recs and the... More

We stayed over Easter for 10 days at this idealic and rustic resort. Whilst some might say that the superior bungalows are basic (quite thin walls) we liked the fact that decor and amenities are in keeping with the true nature of the Maldives. Despite being told that the resort was nearly full, you never felt the place was busy... More

This was our second trip to the Maldives and first to Filitheyo. We were a bit nervous about choosing a new resort, but had to as the resort we went to last time was proving impossible to book from the UK. Our travel agent had been to Filitheyo though and her chef husband loved the food, so we went for... More

We stayed for 6 nights in a superior villa. Lovedthe island but would only return if stayed in a lower number room as we could not swim or snorkel outside our villa. This meant a walk down to a better spot where's sunbeds taken by those with villas there. food was superb and lots of choice.Enjoyed the snorkel safari and... More

A seasoned Maldives visitor (11 times)but first time to Filitheyo and I must say we were very impressed with it.The island is a nice size with plenty of vegetation making it very attractive to walk around. We had 6 nights in a de luxe villa (no19) which is the sunset side with a very nice beach and swimming lagoon. It... More

We spent 7 nights in a Water villa at Fillitheyo Island resort for our honeymoon, and it was an unforgettable experience. The Island is absolutely beautiful with an amazing house reef which is ideal for snorkelling/diving straight from the water villa or from the beach. The Staff are very friendly and helpful and made us feel like royalty!( Abdullah the... More

Just had a holiday at Filitheyo Island Resort in Maldives..we booked a Deluxe Villa with help of Abode Paradise (a travel operator in Maldives). Everything was awesome; in this Holiday..had a pleasant time snorkeling at the reef (they have amazing reef), was referred to Filitheyo by Abode Paradise based on Diving facilities & indeed it was a good suggestion from... Diving We went to Maldives for the second time, this time with Destinology. We chose Filitheyo based on diving experience reviews. Diving centre was indeed very good and diving instructors were true professionals. The reef around the island is amazing, especially good for snorkelling. While snorkelling around the island reef we saw big turtles, octopus, lobsters, box fish, morena fish,... More
