On the whole we found Fihalhohi to be a pretty good all round option if on a budget (as we were).
The main down side is that the bar prices rose on 1st May 2012 so drinks are now expensive. Beer draft $5 a glass, bottled $5.50, wine house quarter litre carafe $9, half litre $18. Other wines around the...

Book for 1 week in August. It was amazing, my wife and I fell in love with the Island. The quietness of the deserted beaches. In the evening lobster dinner on the beach just the two of us was especially cool. very cheap and I mean cheap for the Maldives.

Hotel Fihalhohi is very-very good hotel! Fine green territory, beach, sand like flour! We went barefoot all the time. The reef is good: sharks, stingrays, octopus, moray eels, turtles, crabs and etc.
Food is variety, there is a kitchen for vegetarians. Fruits were each evening: watermelon, melon, pineapples, coconuts, passion fruit, citrus and other.
Entertainment: Every night at the bar...

This was my 3rd visit to Fihalhohi & it won't be my last.
The island is fairly small, you can walk around it in about 10-15 minutes. There is a main restaurant, a main bar, a sunset bar, a spa, a souvenir shop, a dive centre, a watersports hut, and the reception. The island is very well kept and the leaves...

Well this island came as a total suprise the reviews were good but as its sister island is Club Faru which does not have a good reputation I was concerned - but the reality is that it was the best holiday I have ever had in the Maldives. The food was fantastic plenty of variety and lots of Tuna my...
