Well i was a little wary after reading some of the reviews, but was very pleasntly suprised to find excellent food and service. This is thanks to the new Chef Abel who had only been there 2 weeks but has seemed to turn things around dramatically. We visited Mauritius on our honeymoon and decided to stay at pearle beach resort. Pros: The hotel is close to the beach. It's neat and clean and pools are great. Cons: The hotel staff is unfriendly and disinterested. The food is really bad. No restaurants or markets near by. All in all a very average hotel.

Hi, the overall accomodation was average, however on arrival our bar fridge did not work in our room. The staff at the resort were very unfriendly and the managers were just as bad so couldn't really complain to anyone. The meals were not tasty at all. We stayed there for 7 nights, of which one night's meal was good.
