We stopped here for one night en route from Sossusvlei to Damaraland. We booked a room at the Boutique Hotel but arrived to find the name, and presumably ownership had changed. There is a very large portrait of Kaiser Bill to welcome you when you check in. The hotel is situated very close to the beach but as the regular... More

This hotel is small and very central to small town, as it is right at the end of the main street of Swakopmund and within walking distance to everything. The staff where exceptionally friendly, but rooms are small. It is a small hotel but we found it rather noisy as the rooms are all focused around the lift and open... More

Nice city hotel right by the ocean. The roof top bar has a lovely view, but be aware that the city of Swakopmund closes at 11 pm and the bar at 8 pm. Not a joke, trust me, so consider going to the bar for very early pre drinks before dinner. The bartender, who looked like he was twelve years... More

Modern, clean and small hotel. Very nicely decorated. Rooms clean and comfortable. The large bathroom. The rooftop terrace offers views of the surrounding area and Atrlantyk. Cocktail at sunset on the roof of the hotel is an amazing experience. The only drawback, though not as big a breakfast, which was in the building next door.

My wife and I spent three nights at the Swakop Boutique Hotel in mid-September 2012. Swakop has dozens of hotels of all shapes and sizes in a compact area around downtown and the waterfront, and we had spent hours scrutinizing TripAdvisor reviews back in May 2012. But our top three choices were already full, so we went with this option... More

Stayed here for one night after a tiring drive en route from Sossusvlei to Damaraland. As we approached the coast, we were surprised to encounter fog, and a decidedly chilly wind. But a warm welcome at this pleasant hotel revived our spirits. We arrived in Swakopmund and discovered this gem! Close to the jetty in the middle of town. Very new, super clean and everything you needed! The staff were so friendly.
