Very nice surprise! Incredible rooms and very comfortable. Only place in Namibia I've found with free wifi and built in power converters (useful for dummies like me who forget their adapters back home!) Fairly thin walls so earplugs recommended for light sleepers.

The Namib Guesthouse is a real gem. It is very new, modern, with all the ammenities. Decor is beautiful, rooms are really comfortable and bathrooms are nice wetrooms. The only thing is that the rooms, which face a patio at the back of the property have huge windows facing it (a bit like shop windows), but this implies that you... More

We had a relaxing stay in Swakopmund at the Namib Guesthouse. Our room was tastefully decorated and very clean. The manager was very helpful with making arrangements for a scenic flight, dinners, etc. and providing advice on where to go for a run. At the last minunte we wanted to stay another night and they were very accommodating. Highly recommended.

My partner and I stayed at the Namib Guesthouse for 3 nights in February, 2013. The place is excellent; the rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and immaculately clean. The breakfast area was lovely, and breakfast each morning was great. The owner and manager were super friendly and helpful, giving lots of great suggestions for things to do while in Namibia.... The Namib Guesthouse is not unlike the Namib-IMPRESSIVE. The accommodation is some of the best that we have stayed in on our extensive travels. Roomy, well decorated and appointed throughout right down to hooks and hangers where they should be. Our welcome was just that a real welcome down to hello Mr and Mrs ??? (we have withheld our name),... More

The guesthouse is located about a 15 minute walk from the seafront. It is very clean and the room was comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was well presented with cereal and fruit and a cooked option to follow. The owner kindly booked us on a boat trip at nearby Walvis Bay on the morning we were leaving and she was... More

We spend three nights at this guest house toward the end of our stay in Namibia. We were really impressed. Our room was quite deluxe for this type of accommodation. We really liked the clean lines and the spaciousness. There was some outside space between the rooms where we could relax in between our day and night activities. Breakfast was... More

We spent 3 nights in the family suite of this clean and well appointed guesthouse. The interior deco is modern with clean lines and complimented by the mini art gallery in the breakfast area. The welcome and the hosting was immaculate. Conveniently located near the city centre and major restaurants. The hosts were kind enough to make our dinner reservation prior... More

This place has got it all and more. First of all, the quality of the furniture, linen, decoration is just outstanding. It's clean all around and still has a new feel to it. The receptionists are more like mothers than staff and do a tremendous job. Breakfast is fresh, prepared with love and care and again - the quality outstanding.... More
