Great place in Swakopmund. Very good value for money. Bathrooms are very original (design-wise). Rooms are spacious and clean. There is no TV. Breakfast was generous. Very helpful staff. Great location downtown, close to restaurants, bars and seaside.

Of course we live in a 100+ year-old house so felt at home in lovely and spacious room. Great location, only about 2 blocks from the beach and short walk to the downtown area. This pleasant guesthouse is well situated in the town centre, not far from the seafront. Everything is within walking distance. The rooms are basic but functional, and the excellent breakfasts are served in magnificent high-ceiling rooms. The receptionist was extremely helpful in organising our activities/excursions. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, centrally-located hotel, A la Mer is perfect.
