The courtyard that this hotel is built around is beautiful and while the hotel and rooms are small, it is very welcoming and cosy. The staff were always more than happy to help and their restaurant was very nice with traditional food at a cheap price. They also have italian and french food if you don't feel like trying something... More

Room was not very spacious and same goes for the bathroom. Room without a view. Did not sleep very comfortable because the springs could be felt through the matras. We had breakfast included which was a buffet. Bread was very nice. Person at the front desk was very helpfull but he's always alone. More

Let's be clear, it's hard to find a good hotel in Puno and this hotel is very centrally located and with good potential. However, when visiting this hotel in October 2011 it did not live up to any three star rating. The cleanliness of the room is beyond average (black hair in the bed at arival and dust on the... More

Very good breakfast with made to order eggs included with the hotel room rate. Very friendly, helpful staff, and hot water in the shower - not always the case with Peru hotels! They let us choose from 3 different rooms, it was very quiet, and I loved the hotel center courtyard. Located just about 5 blocks from the Lake Titicaca... More

The receptionists were very helpful and nice. They provided oxygen immediately when requested to help with altitude sickness. Coca tea in the lobby is also a nice touch. The bathroom, as in many hotels, are too narrow . Room is so-so. More

An old colonial hacienda comfortably converted to a central hotel. A bit of a time-warp, but more than adequate for a few days in Puno. Staff very helpful, good english. Breakfast OK, but dinner very expensive for Puno - many good, inexpensive restaurants nearby. Just a few blocks from the central plaza, with good shopping, food and many travel agencies.... More

I would like to point out that the reception staff and the Manager of this hotel were most helpful when my husband left his credit card in an ATM. The receptionist rang up the Manager at 10;30 in the evening and he was in the hotel within minutes. The next day whilst we were touring Lake Titicaca, the Manager went... More

WE stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in october, and could not have been more pleased. It is centrally located, and more elegant than we expected. The rooms are very nice, with marble bathrooms. We had several meals in the restaurant, and they were very good. The buffet breakfast, with the best rolls we had in Peru, was wonderful.... More

The room was clean, nice to have TV for the only time on our trip, lots of extra like soap and a mint by the bed. The hotel has character and the staff were semi-helpful (Maximo the bell hop also served breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, what a great guy!). The location was a little far from the main... We stayed here for 2 nights recuperating from a long train journey from Cusco, and before embarking on an even more tiring bus journey to Arequipa. The hotel is well-located and a very elegant building. The staff are helpful and speak English. The beds are comfortable and we had a good nights sleep with no noise to bother us- something... More
