We stayed here for three nights, first night in a double room with bathroom and then we slept in a dorm. We paid 65 soles for the private room and in the dorm it was 30 soles per person per night. Overall this is an okey place to stay in. We think the service was not the best. Some of... More

This hostel was nice with a decent breakfast. Showers at night were chilly, but in the morning they were hot -- so take a morning shower, no problem. The staff arranged a full-day Lake Titicaca tour for us that turned out to be a better deal than several of the people we met who had booked through a different agency,... More

The hostel is located a five minute walk from Plaza de Armas and the main shopping street. We booked a double private room. The room was clean, so was the bathroom. Towels are provided. There were plenty of blankets on the bed to keep you warm at night. What doesn't keep you warm is the ice cold shower instead of... More

Stayed here two nights to acclimatise and visit Lake Titicaca. For the price this place isn´t too bad. Located just off the main street of Puno. Staff helpful and printed off some boarding passes for us for free which was nice. Room small but fine and shower hot. Breakfast self service with fruit (!! unheard of in Peru!!), bread rolls,... Stayed here in Nov 2012. This was more like a small budget hotel than a backpackers. We stayed in a private room with en-suite which was nice and clean. Breakfast was a typical South American breakfast but with really good bread and fresh juice. The location was excellent as it was right in the centre of Puno and they recommend... More

Just stayed at Quechuas Hostel for 3 nights, it's defiantly more like a hotel with private bedrooms and bathrooms which was great. The rooms are clean, showers have steaming hot water and the wi-fi is speedy. The hostal is centrally located (2 blocks from the main street and 4-5 PEN cab ride from the bus terminal) and the staff are... More

More of a small hotel than hostel (stayed 2 nights) that was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but fresh and with choices. Stayed on the third floor with lots of stairs especially with the altitude. A good price and location a block from the main street makes it a fine choice to explore Puno.

I know people have rated this hostel higher but having stayed in a few now I am being stricter with my reviews. It has everything you would expect, wifi, warm showers, breakfast. The plus is breakfast starts at 6. The only down was the travel service takes a bigger cut than most so if you are on a budget get... More

We rented a room for 3 nights on our way to Cusco and I really enjoyed this hostal, the room we stayed in was nice, with a closet and a private bath. The staff were really cool, gaves us directions, set up a tour for us to the Uros islands, there are more tours if you wish to. We also... More

We were warmly welcomed by the young man at the desk and shown to a room up two flights and to the front. It was clean and comfortable but the best thing was the towel... and the sheets. They smelled so fresh and they were so fluffy, it was such a treat having travelled for almost 7 months! Also cable... More
