A no-nonsense hotel, very clean, quiet and in picturesque 'old Moscow' setting. Staff are friendly but functional. There are not that many Hotel's left with CHARACTER, this one has it!

I staid there many times while in moscow. It is charming in all seasons for those who like quiet & peaceful environment. Rooms are old looking ( soviet type) but very clean. Food at restaurant is OK . Close to metro station (tulkaya) & shopping mall ( erevan center) for more western type of food.
