Great little hostel, close to the rail station for Trans siberian travellers. Very clean, brilliant bathroom and shower (very welcome after the train), comfy beds and helpful english speaking operators/ owners who are very keen to be even better. This hostel is so close to the railway and relatively close to the centre of town. We arrived early morning, dumped our bags and headed to Lake Baikal, an absolute must-see if you have time. Very friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast and all day tea, coffee and biscuits. Double room was better than dorm beds. Organised an excellent 3 day hike along Lake Baikal through their company 'Baikal Adventure.' Nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend for anyone wanting to get more from their trip to Irkutsk.
