Well I had gone to Al Khobar on a business visit from India in April 2011. The lobby is very huge and impressive. Even the room is good (without a good view though) but they lack personalized service, may be because of language problem. Variety of food, especially for a vegetarian is an issue. Though the breakfast is lavish but...

The rooms in this hotel are rather old and dated, they do not feel clean as much of the funiture and linen is worn.
Many local weddings and functions are held here and this can lead to celebrations going on until late at night, during my 1 month stay their were 3 or 4 weddings a week.
The restaurant has...

I stayed there last month only for a few hours and the hotels' services was very bad. Check-in was very slow, front office manager was not attending to my needs as he was nowhere to be found. They have an extremely poor selection of cuisine and they still sell it more than SR 100 per meal. They gave me a...

Too many garbages around, you should stop topless. Housekeeping provides torn
and very old old towels. One of the Restaurant Captain due to lack of spoons
got the dirty spoons from the tray on top of side station and start to wipe
them and return back to the guests. During rush hours during meals you can't
find either Napkin or...

I stayed there last week, and i would not recommend this hotel to anybody. It is old and run down, most definately far from being five star.
Service was poor. Food in restaurant, particularly rbreakfast of a very poor quality.
No gift shop in hotel, despite the website offering one. Also no nearby shop around for miles.
Health club very...

The Al Gosaibi is an older hotel in Khobar, but provides good value in an otherwise expensive area. Rooms and baths were relatively clean, although the air conditioner did not work properly during my visit in January, 2007. The breakfast buffet was good with many options. This hotel is definitely showing its age in the lobby, corridors, and rooms, but...

It was not that bad, yes it's an old palce but it is less price than better palces.
it's about 80$ for a singel room, but you can pay 160$ in the meredian for example.
I think it's ok

I would not recommend to stay in this run down hotel. Foul smell of sewage due to its being built on swamp reclaimed ground. Badly maintained service wise.
