Where do I start, no English spoken by anybody. No English maps, only Chinese available. Advertises free WiFi; well it never worked in the room and barely in the lobby during my two days there. Walking distance to west lake and the price was what made us choose this hotel. helpful staff and good rooms with good equipment. A little noisy in the rooms as the sound insulation between rooms is not that good. Rooms could be better maintained, loose handles and so on. More

The Good: Excellent location, stylish interior. Biggest TV I have ever seen in an hotel room. Rubik's cube in every room pleasing us nerds. Nicer rooms have big balconies with a seating area - great! The hotel is located adjacent to West Lake, and an easy walk to Hefang Street (Souvenir Street) and the brand new Hangzhou Museum. Many eateries and shopping are accessible along Nanshan Road. A group of us stayed at this reasonable and conveniently located hotel. Two mates, and a family found the rooms quite spacious and agreeable. However, the rooms we got look into the vaulted lobby, which would not be so terrible but for the fact that the air conditioning does not work. At least they got the fan working, so air... More

Went with my wife on a short holiday to Hangzhou, and this was one of the hotels that garnered much great reviews. Booked it from agoda.com. We took a cab from the rail station to reach the hotel. thelocation is perfect, not so far from westlake, we can get free bike here and you can go around the lake using this bike. all the staff are very kind but they dont serves good breakfast menu. we were 2 days in this hotel but breakfast menu has not changed. :( More
