If you are in Kyoto for business not for holiday this hotel has a good location. 5 minutes walk to Kyoto station, rooms are very small but clean. Really good price thoug. No English in the rooms so it is better to ask about how to use remote control before you get into bed.

This is a basic well kept hotel near Kyoto station. We were there for business and location was fine. Rooms are small, but well kept. Windows could be opened , which was nice and surprisingly quiet. Not much life nearby, but restaurants in station.

It is 5min walk from the main train station/bus station. The room is small.. but bigger than the APA hotel next to honmachi station at Osaka! It has everything you need (e.g. TV/hairdryer/kettle etc) and it is clean. The bed is quite comfy and the price is very reasonable.Think we have a good deal - only 6100 yen a night.

English-speaking staff, welcoming and efficient. Clean,no problems, but a very small room even by Japanese standards - I couldn't pull out the chair from the desk as the bed was in the way! Great location for JR Kyoto station.
