The room size is about as good as you can get for the proce. It is near the Kyoto Train Station which is both a transportation center and a commerce center with dozens of good restaurants and shops. The staff's English was adequate. With the windows open, you can hear a lot of the activity in this congested area. More

The location was five minutes walk from Kyoto Station. Free shuttle bus- constantly running in advertised times was also handy.
