our group used 5 rooms, all were very clean . Staff was helpful. As in all other hotels on this trip to Japan, the beds were very hard-location near train station very convenient for Kyoto.
Be aware that this hotel is not able to exchange foreign money, but they will direct you to Isetan department store, where it is possible...

There are no other reviews in English because very few foreigners seem to stay here. The lobby staff does speak enough English, however, and for the most part, it is a pretty nice hotel, though the wired, in-room, complimentary internet service was spotty.
The negative review is due to one thing only: how the staff handled our bed bug complaint....
