We stayed at the hotel in May 2012 when we visited some friends in Kyoto. The hotel is just 10 minutes away from JR (Shinkansen) Kyoto Central Station. Also 10 minutes drive from Kyoto-Minami Iinter Change on Tomei Highway. No problems for food situation for this hotel because there are cheap small restaurants and convinience stores along the JR line...
