Excellent location near the food scenes. Their rooms bigger than expected for the price we paid. Especially liked the public bath with sauna and cold plunge. It was a great choice for us visiting Osaka for the first time. Staff was friendly even walking over with us to a bike share place. Would book here again.

Rock hard bed, smoky room (even on the non-smoking floor), slow elevator and, my word, the most useless staff I have come across in Japan. During check in, as another foreign couple were checking in, the staff couldn't tell whose passport was whose, and who was attached to which room. It's not even as if we all looked the same; just utterly ridiculous. On top of that, the hardness of the bed and the smokiness of the room cannot be overstated. If you're wide in the shoulders (or simply fat) you'll struggle to fit in the bathroom. I could barely turn around at the sink without hitting the wall. Finally, they don't offer Takyubin (luggage shipping) services; you have to go to the adacent Family Mart for that. The only redeeming quality is that the location is good. I last went here around 10-13 years ago. It has fallen a long, long way in the intervening years.

This place sits at decent location to best parts of Osaka. For the price it's worth the stay. They have an onsen. They have free ramen for 90 min at night. What is probably the best is when you arrive early they lock up your bags as a unit. Then when you come back the bags are in the room. Can't beat that.

I have stayed in this hotel on 18 - 20 Oct 2019. Hotel room is outdated but the staff service are very good. Their hot spring is the major reason that I choose to stay in all Dormy Inn hotel. FANTASTIC and I really love it. Thank you for Front Desk staff Ms. Joong she is very helpful and assist to make a table reservation for us as very difficult to communicate with the restaurant.

For me, all the Dormys are great. Unpretentious, quiet and very Japanese. Free late-night noodles. If you want a slice of home in Japan stay at a Holiday Inn or a Hilton. This is a nice Japanese Hotel, accessible to foreigners.

I'm the regular guest and supporter for Dormy Hotel. But this time i felt really disappointed when i first stay in to this branch compare to others i stay before. The hotel is old and dirty. The room structure is too small even open an luggage space also don't have. The toilet with a bad smell. Housekeeping work done in half way until i call to reception counter to make a complaint but no action and only by words of "sorry". Breakfast is lack of choice compare to other branch and not worth to pay 800 yen for it. Services of the receptionist are not well train and no manner. The hot spring is not a natural spring water and is too cloud with small space which can't manage more than 5 person in same bath time. Imagine during peak hour more than 10 ladies gather in tiny room at the same time where can't even walk and breath proper. Will not consider to stay in future although located at not bad location.

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay at, this isn't the place for you. I don't understand why previous reviewers chose to stay here even when they knew this was a central location to Dotonbori and Namba, which would inadvertently be noisy. However, if you are looking for convenience, great service, short walking distance to the subway/JR, and also close proximity to Dotonbori and the usual touristy spots, this is the hotel for you. Affordable, comes with free access to the hotel's onsen with also free ramen for dinner/supper, there is nothing else I can ever ask for! There are also cafes and great food nearby. I wouldn't suggest the breakfast even though it is cheap. You can easily find better food around the area.

There is a night-club on ground floor of the same building, it is extremely noisy at midnight, I can literally hear all their low bass music !!! I am writing this review at 4:51am !!! I just can’t sleep !!! Not to mention that this so-called refurnished hotel is OLD & dirty in the bathroom. It is cheap in Agoda, but think twice before you confirm your booking.
