just a stones throw away from the station and very comfortable. We ended up getting 2 linked rooms which was very comfortable for 4 of us. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast was a nice mix. Great for an overnight stay.

Old hotel, but most of everything working well. They have a shortcut access from east exit of Shin- osaka hotel, very convenient if you traveled by train. A convenient store and budget friendly family restaurant available at next to the shortcut from shin-osaka station to hotel lobby.

Our first stay at the Shin Osaka Station Hotel. My family and I stayed there as it was very close to the Shin Osaka station and considering that it was winter, close proximity to the station is an advantage. I am glad we picked this hotel. Very cozy, low rise hotel with very gracious and polite front counter staff. With luggages, just follow the directions given in the hotel website, proceed to the east exit at Shin Osaka station, take the lift down to ground level and follow the guide to the hotel. About 5-10 mins. Without luggage, just a 5 mins walk from the hotel, across the overhead bridge (green) and you will reach the central south entrance of the station. Very easy and convenient. There are eateries that open 24 hours near the hotel if you need to grab a late night supper. Lawson is just round the corner so it is extremely convenient. Our stay includes breakfast and the hotel staff will ask us to select at the end of each day for the next day's breakfast. They have western (sandwich) or Japanese (either slice of salmon or mackerel). The drinks (orange juice, water, coffee, tea) is free flow and there are side dishes in buffet style, with miso soup. Personally I would recommend the Japanese breakfast. Neat, tasty, not too filling, appetising. There is also a selection of shampoo, face cleanser, moisturiser, both wash, hair brush and wash cloth, made available near the counter. You can pick and choose daily. Lift is small, fits about 3 pax with 24inch luggages. Rooms are clean and neat. Toilet bowl has a heating element that warms the seat. So it is very comfortable during winter.Pillow is a bit hard but still comfortable. Although the hotel still uses the traditional keys to the rooms but it is functional. Overall, a very pleasant stay. I would return to this hotel when I visit Osaka again.

I chose this hotel merely for its location: near Shin-Osaka Station. The reason is my flights arrived in and departed from Kansai International Airport. The express train (Haruka) from Kansai Airport does not stop at Umeda/Osaka station but at Shin-Osaka Station. I therefore prefer to stay near Shin-Osaka Station so that it will be easier for me to carry my luggage between the hotel and the train. The hotel is within a short walking distance from the East Exit of Shin-Osaka Station where there is an elevator. If you do not have too many suitcases, it will not be inconvenient. As it is in the area of the Shin-Osaka Station, it is much quieter than Umeda/Osaka. Including those inside the shopping mall complex of the Shin-Osaka Station, there are some restaurants. It is in any case easy to go to Umeda on the subway. Regarding the hotel, one matter definitely needs improvement. The water temperature in the shower was very unstable. Even after you thought you have set a right temperature, the water could suddenly turn hotter or colder. When it turned hotter and I tried to add a little bit of cold water, it became very cold. I then tried to add a little bit of hot water, it then became very hot. The hotel management needs to look into this issue. A hotel guest may catch a cold because of this. Finally, a minor matter: while this hotel, like other Japanese hotels, provides slippers, toothbrush and razor, it does not provide shower cap.

Conveniently located near the Shin Osaka Station this is a simple and clean place to stay at a affordable price. Excellent Japanese or Western breakfast came with the room and the staff is friendly and helpful. Shower was small even for Japanese standards but overall an excellent hotel option in Osaka

This is a very old school mom and pop Inn. They still use traditional keys to open the door. The room is kind of creepy and room itself was not in the best condition. Location is very close to the subway station and the staff is really friendly. Even includes free breakfast which was pretty decent. If you are looking for a place to just sleep and don't care about the quality then I recommend staying here. If you are looking for a nice hotel, don't recommend.

We were four friends from college getting together after 30years. The station hotel is very conveniently located near the station and surrounded by restaurants and convenient stores. The room was comfortable enough for the 4 of us, and they provided the necessities we needed. Our japanese breakfast on day 1 was simple yet filling and tastes good.most of all, the staff were all friendly and willing to help always. Station hotel made our first visit so fulfilling and memorable.

This is a hidden gem kind of hotel at stone throws distance from Shin Osaka hotel. We checked in to this hotel with minimal expectations but the experience was pleasant surprise. First biggest advantage is that the hotel in barely 5 mins walk from East exit of shin Osaka station. That's big bonus especially when we are loaded with our luggage. Check in was very smooth. The room was reasonably spacious considering japanese standard. The room was equipped with all possible little amenities that can fit in to it. Be it hair dryer or mineral water or be in shoe cleaner. All well fitted in the room and not to forget WiFi with reasonable speed. Breakfast had japanese and continental set options which were pretty descent. Overall pleasant and comfortable stay and sure value for money.

This is a small, functional hotel a few minutes walk from Shin-Osaka Station. It’s super easy to get to - fast train from the airport to Shin-Osaka Statuon then a short walk. Go out the East gate, turn right, go across the pedestrian crossing and go right, then turn left so you walk past the Lawson, then follow the signs :) Rooms are tiny, but have everything you need, with additional thoughtful supplies provided free of charge in the lobby. The bed was warm and comfortable, and I appreciated the in-room air conditioner. Breakfast was limited for me as I’m allergic to seafood but I had enough to eat from what was provided. Staff are friendly and don’t mind trying out their English. I’d stay here again - makes for a very simple first night or two. Thanks!

This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel. We picked this hotel because it's very near to the train station and it's so convenience if you are lugging a big luggage. Another reason I love about staying at this hotel is their daily simple breakfast especially the Japanese breakfast which comes with rice, fish, soup and a variety of sides vegetables and pickles. We always travel light and this hotel suits us as we will use the laundry which is located near the lobby. One of the cons of this hotel is that the room is quite small, as well as the bed. We booked a double bed room and the bed was like the size of a single bed, maybe they have mistakenly give us an "economy" double bed room. We hardly had a good night sleep, so we decided to pay extra to upgrade our room for the rest of our stay. Hotel staff that we came across as well as the reception staff are polite and helpful.
