I had a great and pleasant stay here. It was nearby shopping areas and restaurants such as the Dotonbori strip, Shinsaibashi shopping and Namba Parks Mall. Many small street side restaurants and convenience stores were steps away. Family Mart was my go-to place for meals and drinks all throughout the day. The capsules itself was cozy and comfortable but I did hear other guests' snores. Light sleepers may find this inconvenient so I would recommend earplugs if so. Some of the downsides I found were the TV / radio / clock electronics within the capsule were dated and some not even working. The good capsule wifi together with my smartphone made up for this keeping me entertained. Also, all guests are required to vacate the hotel premises daily from 10am - 2pm as they close down (even though you are booked for staying multiple days). I found this a bit inconvenient but something I was able to adjust to. This forced me to to get out into the city and explore anyways. Overall I would recommend this place for budget travellers and would most likely stay here again.

I stayed there for one night with my friends. I recommend you this place only if you don't want to sleep. The capsules are not spacious enough and the curtains don't protect you from the light. Also, as this hotel is located in Dotonbori (which is the only good point), you can hear every piece of the nightlife outside, neither the building or the capsules are soundproof. Finally, read carefully ALL the rules, specially the little lines because you can have some bad surprises as we had. We let our luggages in a locker up to 3PM and we were asked to pay ¥1,000 for EACH luggage! At any time the staff mentioned this rule.

We spend one night this hotel capsule, enough to have a bad experience. The staff made us pay 1000 yen per piece of luggage we let in the hotel’s lockers ! Even if they welcomed us right they NEVER told us this rule and they saw us leaving our luggage’s there. They told us to pay because it was written on the hotel’s rules, written in size 11 on a A4 paper, hidden in the entrance !! They didn’t even provide us these rules at the check-in. The staff didn’t even want to listen to us and admits the dishonesty of their statement !! Compare to the price of the « bed » it’s is exaggerated, aberrant and rude. If we would have slept right it could have been less worst but: you are sleeping on a 2cm futon full of dust, the light is on all night and you can absolutely hear all what’s is happening the room !! I strongly do not recommend you to book this place, I am certain you can find faaaaar much better in Osaka.

This capsule hotel is designed for a single purpose. To give you somewhere warm and safe to sleep it's not a fancy hotel but it does what it sets out to do. I will conduct the review into sections rather than my usual feelings then a pros and cons like I normally do. Check in and lobby The check in process was easy even with our poor understanding of Japanese and we were given locker keys and a place to secure our shoes which we did. The lobby has seats and chairs and is the only place where all genders can intermix. There is s vending machine that provides drinks and a microwave for meals. Lockers The lockers will be big enough for smaller bags but not for suitcases which would need to be stored in the lobby area please take that into consideration. I don't hold this against the hotel as the hotel is designed for people to just lie down and sleep if they missed the last train home not for tourists. Capsule The capsules are separated by gender for reason I can only assume so couples who need to cuddle or sleep together look elsewhere. The capsule itself is dated as the TV inside is CRT tech and has a 70s and 80s feel but overall was very clean and comfy for a cheap place to stay. There is the issue that snoring can be heard but eat plugs easily fix that. The capsule has its own cooling vent, power plug as well more than enough for me. Bathroom The shower rooms are awesome and I loved the showers quite a lot very hot and good pressure. Toilets were clean but again had that dated feel but for price it's fine. Facilities The hotel had the mentioned vending machine and when you check in you get s choice of two items ranging slippers to shaving gel. You always get a towel, toothbrush and pajamas when you stay. The hotel also has decent fast WiFi and was enough for me. Overall I would say even though the capsule design is a little dated it is s clean budget hotel even the fact you have to check out is not an issue as it's not designed for tourists it's more of s last resort sleep but I would stay here again.

I stayed here because it was cheap and in the right location. The area is network of narrow streets so it might not be the easiest place to find for the first time and I certainly walked past it for a few meters. Your room payment gives you a capsule, a medium locker (gym size locker, enough for an overnight bag) and access to the shared washing facilities. I found the capsule to be very clean and comfortable, plus much more roomy than I expected. The medium locker was sufficient for my needs but they also provide larger lockers downstairs for large suitcases. Unfortunately you are expected to check out everyday which can be frustrating. Bare in mind that this means you cannot access your large locker again until 5pm. If you turn right outside the hotel and then right at the next junction there are some public lockers which you can access anytime. If you are just staying for one night, do so, it is very cheap, for longer stays you might want to try elsewhere.

There's so many more choices to stay in the area that this place could and (should) be avoided at all costs. Where do I start ? Well, the location is not too bad, quite easy to find and with plenty of restaurants and place to eat around it. And ... That was the positive point, now the negatives one's: - the staff at the checking was rude - the "cubes" are way too small for an average size Westerner - wondering about how clean the facility really was - the lockers provided for the bags were so small that I couldn't even put a Normal size carry on bag (most of the ppl had their luggage around their pods or in with them as the hotel decline all responsibility in the even of theft). Unfortunately I think that the place should provide adequate size lockers. And the best for last, if someone would stay multiple nights, they are actually required to check out at 10 am each morning and need to live the premises until they can check again at 17h !! Just for that, this "hotel" should be avoided, there's way too many choices in the area to even bother staying there. I would NOT come back not would I recommend it.

The check out rules are different from the other hotels. Even if you have more than one night to stay there you have to take all your things out of the capsule and leave at the reception. You just can come in again after the check in time (5pm). Sometimes we come from a long trip and very tired. I think that it's unnecessary and uncomfortable. Otherwise the capsule, toilet and shower are clean. Each capsule have aircon, TV and mirror.

I was there for 2 days in June. They got a stupid rule that people to check out every morning 10a.m. and check back in again every afternoon 5p.m. even I was staying 2 days in a roll. I didn't know on the first day, as they just gave me a piece of paper without explaining any important details, of course I didn't go through all that. The day I didn't check out, they pack my stuff and threw it all into a plastic bag, left it in the lounge. It is such a stupid rule, if customers stay there for 5 days, they have to pack their suitcase every freaking morning for total 5 days! what a hassle! I'm not gonna stay there ever again.

I stayed here in the beginning of march for 6 nights then again in the beginning of April for 5 nights. My first experience was great which is why I came back but on my second visit I quickly realized I probably should have booked somewhere else. I was on a high from being in Japan for the first time so I didn't notice the small issues that would be when I came back as a solo traveller instead of the group traveller on the first occasion. The check-out every day quickly gets annoying when you've had a long night but to be fair they don't have a large lobby which is probably why we can't stay during the day as they would not have space to work. The advantage of the fact that you have to leave is that it forces you to go out and explore! The small lobby area also limits the ability to meet other travellers which is not good for the sociable people staying in hostels to meet like minded travellers. If you're in a group staying for a couple of nights and not really looking to make friends then this place would be for you. If you want to meet others then I would recommend another place with the installations for that. The beds are decent but a little hard. For light sleepers, this may not be the place but are bunk bed hostels or capsules hotels every really the place for a light sleeper. Staff is nice and willing to help with any questions but I was disappointed that they didn't allow me to use the paying coin lockers for a night before my second stay as I was only checking in the following day. A small favour for a returning customer would have been well appreciated. After checkout luggage is stored in the lobby but keep in mind guests are not allowed inside before 5 so relatively safe. All in all a decent stay and would come back here for one night in transit but probably not do another lengthy stay.

Very good localization. Clean and unusual place. Lockers for shoes and valuables. However the bags or suitcases are in one place (different from the dormitories). Women and men well separated. Old equipment. Calm but not be sensitive to noises from neighbors!
