The alamanda is ok for a budget traveler, but dont expect to much. The tv in the room had an indoor aerieal which had a terrible picture and it was all malay tv. The A/C was either mega cold or off. Our room(superior Double) was tiny, although unlike other rooms it did have a window. If it was screwed into the... More

We booked for a one-night transit in Kuala Lumpur. The room was small, dirty (the white walls are covered with black marks), and without any window (like every room in the hotel). The only wish you have is just to go out. You can find better places in the neighbourhood for the same amount. More

The location is the best aspect of this hotel, being smack in the middle of Chinatown. The rooms were average and rather small, but clean. The hot shower was also a plus, and there was wifi and a TV. It was an ok hotel! More

I had little choice of hotel when another one just around the corner turned out to be horrific. The pictures downstairs appear to show rooms far larger than reality. My God, are they tiny! The bed fills the room and there was no window. This makes it really claustrophobic. The bathroom was so small showering required removal of everything you... More

Stayed here after a 20 something hour trip from thailand. Hotels very central but tricky to find with the market on its doorstep. Room was tiny but fine for us. AC and hot shower both worked so not too many complaints from us. Chinatown is really central and a quick hop from the tube. Yes, there were a few mini... More

I was there for just 2 nights but the hotel is terrible. Only stay there if you are after a very very cheap stay. I believe me and my friend paid around £15 each for 2 nights but the room was like a small box.. barely fit two small beds and tv and a crap toilet. It wasn't very clean... More

This is the worst hotel I ever stayed in Kuala Lumpur and I checked out the very next day as it was really loathsome. The rooms are not same as they are depicted in the pictures. Insects are found in abundance in the room and the bathroom hardly fits a single person. The staff is not familiar with English and... More

I stayed there for 5 days and it was very good overall in October in 2011. Staff was really friendly. It is alongside the famous Petaling street and everything is at your door-step. Just walking distance to the Pasar Seni station and 1 RM to KL sentral from there. There was a problem in the Hot water shower and I... More

I took this hotel for transit purpose in Kuala Lumpur while travelling to Singapore. Located at Chine town, this hotel is ok for very short stay, not good for long stay. Room was very small and dark. Out side you can have good time pass at China town. In after noon this area is very much crowded by small shop-keepers.... More
