Knew KL well as I had lived there many years ago. Chose to stay in high-standard boutique hotel rather than usual "chain" ones. Did not regret - except for the shower and lack of water pressure! Well located in Bukit Bintang area. Large room, giving on street (can be somewhat noisy - better stay in back rooms if sleep light!)... More

This was my second stay at this hotel so I liked it enough to come back. It was my husbands first stay and he loved it too. For us it was a very early arrival from Australia but we were forced to hang around till the 2pm check in time which was tiresome after an 8 hour flight. We amused ourselves... More

We stayed at this wonderful hotel over the Easter period and really enjoyed it. Our room on the front was large and very comfortable the bathroom was especially good. All hotels should take note even though this was almost a wet room the water did fall away really well and not everything did get wet and there was no mould.... More

My wife and I stayed at Anggun for 4 nights in total. We had one night, then flew to Singapore for 4 nights and then returned for another 3 nights. The location of this hotel is great, 5 mins walk to Jalan Alor for a huge range of food, and, another couple of mins to Jalan Bukit Bintang for shopping... More

Only had one night in KL and picked Anggun because of its location- Bukit Bintang is a lively area and as our main plan was to enjoy the evening eating out Jln Alor (just behind the hotel) was the obvious place to do it. Rooms were nicely presented, comfortable beds, large bathroom, dark wood peranakan style-as you see on the... More

We recently stayed here for two nights with are three children. After some negotiation of the nightly rate as they decided to try and add an extra 95 MYR a night to our room rate for an extra bed even though we had been emailed a quote that had nothing about the extra charge, anyway to their credit they honoured... I reached KL at 5am on a weekday morning and managed to reach the hotel at 5.30am. I was prepared to check-in at around 11am, the earliest I reckon they can give me since I only booked the room for that day Surprisingly, the staff, Wan seeing me and my partner pretty tired from the overnight ride, gave us an... We are not huge fans of staying in large anonymous chain hotels and having read reviews chose this hotel and it was a good choice. The location of the hotel is good, being situated close to the street food and a good selection of bars and other restaurants. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel but it... More

This was a perfect choice for a few days in KL as we prefer to stay in small, personal hotels. We managed to get there and back from the airport by train (albeit carrying cases up and down stairs at the station was a little tricky), but we were centrally placed for everything we wanted to see, and it is... Have stayed at the Traders and Hilton on previous trips to KL and thought I would try something a bit more intimate and individual in a different area of town. We were pleased with our choice fo the Anggun and would recommend it to anyone wanting something of good quality but smaller and more personal and slightly cheaper. We only... More
