The room is small but enough for two people and those with medium luggage. There’s slippers kettle and even a sofa seat. Its great for budget travelers like us. Near to places like Chinatown and Sentral station. Also walking distance to Kota Raya. For Philippine food fixes. The receptionists aren’t hard to talk to.

This place is extremely viable for group travelers. Very convenient location and a stone's throwaway from the Popular Chinatown shopping area. Food are every where whenever you feel hungry or feel like snacking.

The location is good. Staff is polite. But rooms are very small and quite old. There is free cold and hot drinking water. Wi-Fi is slow. But for few nights it’s okay staying there. Rooms are clean. It’s just in Chinatown parallel street of Petaling.

Excellent hotel for families of 4-5 members. There are stores nearby since it is in Chinatown area. The location is also okay since it is very accessible from Petaling Street and Central Market though you have to walk a bit to get to MRT Pasar Seni Station.

I can see the appeal of this place as it's cheap and not too far from the city. If you're literally just looking for somewhere to sleep, then it's a good option. So I actually clicked on this hotel accidentally, but figured I'd go with it, as reviews were decent. However, Ive not enjoyed my night here and am writing this as I pack my bag and check out two days early. I must also state, it's not just the hotel but the actual area I didn't enjoy. I'm no princess, but I AM a solo female traveller..... On the plus side: -own shower -£12 for a private room -friendly reception staff -pay per night so flexible (no refunds) -air con Towels provided -close to the market -balcony (not a great view, but it was nice to have the option) Downside: -really noisy, all night - outside was a constant whirring noise, traffic, shouting etc. Throughout the early morning I heard loud voices/shouting in the corridors. I did not sleep well! -sheets may have been clean, but looked stained :-( -shower soaked the whole bathroom because it's next to the toilet -I found the bed uncomfortable, resulting in backache -sound of spitting all around me (it's a cultural thing. But I don't want to put myself in a place that is surrounded by it) -I couldn't get the TV to stop buzzing and therefore client watch it Like I've said, it's not my cup of tea but it would probably suit other people. Perhaps my room just wasn't as great as the other ones that have been reviewed...? I also didn't realise I would be in the heart of Chinatown and perhaps would have been happier if I was travelling with someone else.

In the heart of Chinatown, close to bus station and Pasar Seni MRT. Full of restaurants, shops, and minimarket nearby. 2 mins walk from Petaling Street. I stayed in a single room, the room and bathroom was quite small but ok for a solo traveller. The quality of sleeping was average, i found some customers from China very noisy. The signs "do not spit" in all the parts of the hotel was increbile. Average hotel but recommended with a low budget

Excellent find as it is hard to get a family room for 5. Looks like the rooms have been refurbished recently, clean and neat. Handy location to Chinatown. Also close to bus station and McDonalds...less then 5 minutes walk. To Masjid Jamek train station less then 10 minutes. Would recommend.

Nan Yeang is a budget hotel for a budget price . Great location in Chinatown 5minutes walk to Puderaya bus station and a little further to the LRT station(then 1 stop to KL Sentral) 30 minutes to Petronas towers. The room was small , but had a balcony( lower rooms have no windows) was cleaned every day, and everything worked . This is the second time we've stayed here, and no complaints.

We checked into Nan yeang in the morning (7am) as we had booked from the previous night. It was a room for 5pax and quite spacious. The front desk staff was lovely enough to give us a late check out as we could not check in to our other hotel until 3. Highly recommended. Special thanks to Ms. Lou at the front desk for understanding our situation. The hotel is centrally located and is only a few mins walk to petaling street. Would recommend this hotel for travelers who don't intend on spending too much time in their room.
