I recommend this hotel for people who wants to stay a week near KL's attractions with tight budget, that is why don't expect too much, those who wants comfortable feel like in a 5 star hotel. You can't ask for fast assistance, can't seen stylish furniture and equipments, can't have good air-conditioning, but overall it's just good. 😉

Old hotel and need renovation on all.. I stay For 3 night .. Old tv and bathroom condition is seemlike hostel even they have bathup. The hotel location close to traditional market and easy to get food for culinary until midnight.. The breakfast menu not rated as 3 star hotel but value for money! Recommended for backpacker traveller .. Free wifi only available at lobby and restaurant ..

I stayed in this hotel few times if i were to spend my time in KL with family for couple of days. If u are not a fussy traveller then this is an ideal hotel for u. Strategically good place to find good food. I ate once at the restaurant hotel but i'd rather buy take- away food from outside.

If you are looking deep beyond the mystery of Malaysia's capital city, you must book a stay in this hotel. Well, most people will get used to seeing the Petronas Tower, those modern high-rise building and parks. But here at Brisdale's penthouse floor where the restaurant is located, you will view KL with a different perspective, a different description. Brisdale Hotel is located in an older part of the city, a little bit chaotic but nevertheless peaceful neighborhood where you can find old Malay mosques, Buddhist temples and Hindu places of worships. Right outside the hotel is a market where you can find old man selling different kinds of medicines that promise to cure everything. The light rail station is not too far from the hotel which connects you the main part of the city. Although the luxury of five-star hotels are obviously absent, the food at the penthouse is basically good, the price is good even for tightly-budgeted travel but with the convenience of a pleasant and peaceful night of sleep up where you can see the view of KL's famous skyscrapers, Petronas Towers and many more with the ambiance and atmosphere of ancient past. Highly recommended.

I'm glad we only stayed here for 1 night. Sure, the price was cheap but it was a horrible hotel. The room smells awful, the bathroom was super dirty AND I could hear rats running inside the walls! There no wifi in the room. Only in the lobby. The only good thing about the place is the location. It's walking distance from the monorail but it's located in a shady neighborhood.

We stayed for two nights. Overall good experience. Good city views. No doubt value for money. Room was clean however we encountered a little insect on our bed a couple of times. Definitely needed some renovations. Room refrigerator was not working and when complained, the receptionist said "Sir! I'm sending maintenance staff" and wow absolutely nothing happened!!! Staff also needed some training n should learn to smile. When tried to order meal from Hotel kitchen the response was "we are all out because we had a seminar and participants were many". A good hotel would always manage such situations. I was so tired of all day rush and work but had to leave the hotel for nearby restaurant in scorching heat at 3:30pm. But the good news is that hotel is located near lots of restaurants. Variety of Chicken curries from Restaurant Mehran (which is actually across the main road under the bridge) are highly highly recommended.

When we arrived, no one welcomed us no one helping us carry the bags and no one at the reception. The receptionist busy playing with his phone when we checked in. The elevator feels like going to break down at any moment. The room very dirty.
