Athamaa Palace is one of the oldest hotels in Male and it shows.
It's at the main street, in the heart of the capital island - a superb location and could be a marvellous location for a smart little boutique hotel! The rooms are spacious, what I really like, with a TV and plenty of Hindi and some good English...

Athamaa Palace is good for the travellers who are on a short visit to Male specially for business or meeting purpose, hotel is not comfort but provide basic amenities. in Conclusion it is good if you are not looking for any luxury.
Nothing great to write about this hotel except that it is in the ceneter of the market in Male the small island capital of Maldives. It has a good in house Indian eatery and bakery. If you wish to pamper yourself you can choose the distant Island resorts.
