I was disappointed with everything. In the entrance, it really looks old. Can't compete with other hotels. The Comfort room in the Centennial Room A doesn't look like it belongs to a hotel, seems more of a public comfort room. and so little parking space.. They also have poor food presentation. I'm here to attend just two events and I... More

I've stayed in this historical hotel about twice a decade for a long time and have seen their ups and downs. My most recent stay was a definite up. Service was perfect. And that's saying a lot if you've ever been to the Philippines. If you haven't been there in awhile give them another chance. If nothing else their breakfast... More

We stay at the Manila hotel on our last two days in the Philippines. I was a little worried about the location, its not really walking distance to anything. I got a great deal through Asiatravel.com's crazy rate so we gave it a try. The outside looks a little tired but the inside is very nice. Our rooms where nicely... More

The Manila Hotel turns 100 this year (2012). It's worth staying here just for the historic value. It was part of plan crafted in 1906 to have a tree lined blvd along the harbor, and a park dominated by a hotel - the Manila Hotel. So the location is great - you can easily walk to many of the Manila... More

I stayed here last December for four days together with my colleagues for our seminar and convention. It was fairly ok but during the second day when breakfast was being served they were not prepared. Considering that it was a National Convention they should have anticipated the amount of food required. It was a disaster, the number of guests is... More

It remains one of the most recognizable landmark in the Manila bay area - but only because it didn't change much for the past few decades. The ambience will make you want to reminisce the good ol' manila. A perfect stop for historical tour of Manila considering its rich cultural and historical past. The rooms I stayed in is standard... Me and my colleagues flew to Manila for a business meeting. We stayed in Manila Hotel and we were impressed with their rooms and service. The breakfast was awesome and the location was just perfect. The hotel is just a few minutes away from our office. This is one of the best places to stay when you are in Manila! More

What do General MacArthur, The Beatles and Me have in common? We all stayed at Manila Hotel. Manila Hotel opened in 1912. It has established a reputation of being the home to political figures, the elite and the famous. In 2008, Manila Hotel started renovating the rooms and updated the facilities. All of the rooms are now fully refurbished. Just... More

check-in: quick and efficient, but didn't get the welcome drinks they promised. lobby: spacious with choir or folk music playing room: stayed in the twin deluxe. The beds were more single than twin with not enough space to move around; mattresses were a bit on the hard side and not comfy. The pillows were soft though. Bed linen changed daily.... More
