It's 40 miles from downtown, but close to the Lakeline Metrorail station, which provides limited service into the city (i.e. once an hour during the day, even during a major festival). Although this hotel is a bit farther from downtown Austin than we thought, it was a very nice place. Staff was friendly and helpful, beds were comfortable, and room was big. Sofa pulled out but we did not need to use it. Breakfast was a basic one for Choice hotels but plenty of choices. Eating area was spacious. More
