Newly remodeled, still a slight whiff of clean paint. very nice room, reasonable price. Loved hosts Sharif and Elias...they were so welcoming, recommended a great place for a Texas steak. would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Busy weekend in Austin, and the only place the family member reserving rooms said they could find was this hotel. It was under renovation, noisy, and needed more than remodeling to improve. the one GOOD thing- rooms were cool and clean but towels, etc. were in small supply. Will never consider this hotel again.

So I must say the staff here are super nice, very accommodating and the new rooms look so cool. Very Euro. The rooms are just so, old and musty, the usual for an older motel really. The cost is average, not the cheapest but low. Old decor and furnishings... was fairly clean for such an old "feeling" place. The bed was not very comfortable but if you're tired enough you will sleep okay. I didn't have a pain in the morning... Kudos to the staff. Front desk staff went above and beyond. Room was good. There was construction so that was the only downside (bathroom was not accessible in the lobby area). While it is probably a good value for Austin, I've stayed at other Red Roof Inns in other cities for slightly better price. I would consider staying her again!

Room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel is showing some signs of age but they were renovating the lobby while I was there. I don't think you can expect more for the price.
