I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place in North Austin for a business trip and must say I was pleasantly surprised.
The room I had was on the 4th floor and away from the elevators, which usually makes a world of a difference when it comes to noise.
The hotel was fully booked the entire time I was there, and...

This really is a solid choice for a quick trip to Austin. It's reasonably priced, very clean, and the Hyatt Place room layout is very versatile. This hotel does host a lot of groups, so the hallways can be a little noisy, but that can be managed by asking for a room at the end of a hallway. The included...

Stayed heer last weekend. The area around this place looks questionable and there's a nightclub right at the entrance to the hotel driveway. Our room had a moldy smell. Someone came up and sprayed something on the air vent but it didn't last long. The room was also dusty. The breakfast had alot of pastries, but nothing really good. The hotel...

The staff is great here every time I stay. The rooms are great and the price is reasonable. We were only there for one night for a sporting event. We were given superior service by Deacon!!! He made sure all was good for us in the hotel and about the city:)

Title says it all. We have a quick one night stay while visiting our daughter. The check in was quick and friendly. Our room, on the fifth floor was very big. It had a very large sitting area with a large sectional couch. The large flat screen TV was swiveled so that it could faced the couch or the bed....

We stayed one night after attending the Andrea Bocelli Valentine's concert at the Frank Erwin center. We had a little trouble finding the hotel due to it is located a distance from the road and the sign was very small. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable. The only problem we had was the hotel...

Stayed there for a night. The hotel is not close to downtown and a cab has to be pre-arranged. But has a shuttle that starts around 7am and can drop/pick you from the nearby places. The fitness center is pretty minimal with 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, 1 bike, 1 bench and some weights. No mats for abs or crunches. Complimentary...

nice little hotel ... not really close to downtown, but it's very affordable, free breakfast and spacious rooms ... we had the double beds (kinda small and uncomfortable) plus the sleeper sofa and the bar area. the Free breakfast was good and loved the revolving TV... wish it was closer to downtown though ...

The Hyatt Place Hotel is not located in the best area; however the hotel is wonderful. We stayed there for several days while undergoing surgery at St. David's Hospital. The hotel offers excellent rates for those individuals needing a place to stay while receiving medical care. The rooms are very, very large and comfortable and the staff is very helpful...
