“wonderful quiet retreat with a full kitchen right in austin”

i enjoyed the laid back nature of miyard b and b. sat outside on the upstairs porch and savored take out dinner watching the sunset over the skyline of austin. inkeeper was very nice. great neighborhood, right on the busline too but fairly quiet. More

I just got back from a business trip to Austin and was pleasantly surprised by my accommodations while I was there. My only requests for my assistant when he was making my reservations were that the place be close to downtown, affordable and quiet. Mi Yard Bed & Breakfast met all of my expectations and then some. Mi Yard was the perfect place for me to stay while in Austin for a week-long business trip. Ed was lovely and helpful - the morning paper on the kitchen island was a very nice touch - the surroundings quiet and beautiful (an amazing view of the city skyline at night from the top-floor balcony), it was an easy drive... We found this place through Craigslist and boy are we glad we did! Simple and comfortable, the B&B was decorated in bright cheery colors and tons of light flooded the house making us feel like we really could be in the islands.
