We have stayed here before in 2010. We loved the quiet cottage. I wish the weather was a lot better so we could take in more of the sites in Austin. Still we had another great trip. While the cottage and setting is quaint, the water in the bathroom taps smells so badly of sulfur that we had to hold our breath in the shower to prevent throwing up :( We didn't see the owners upon arrival or at any other time during our stay, so couldn't ask questions about it or discuss a refund for the... We love the Bedrox and will stay every trip to Austin. It is dog friendly on 5 acres with 3 cabins. The beds are so comfy and the owner provides fresh coffee beans and a grinder for enjoying great coffee on the front porch while visitng with the two miniature "house" donkeys. It is like staying in a friends home... More

What a great place! We celebrated our wedding anniversary in the funky Little Rox cabin. A perfect setting close to the lake, fantastic texas decor, comfortable outdoor spaces for relaxing.
