My mother and I went to Abingdon and stayed at Shepherd's Joy for a short get-away treat for ourselves. The furnishings were charming and the food was delicious. While planning my business trip to Abingdon, I contacted Shepherd's Joy to enquire concerning their ability to host a business traveler. “A relaxing getaway”

Shepherd's Joy is a beautiful old farmhouse on a working sheep farm. Its setting is peaceful and quiet, even though it is only a short walk to all the attractions of downtown Abingdon. “A Sweet Find In Abingdon”

Jack and Joyce are the most hospitable and gracious hosts. Their victorian home is beautiful and our room was very nice and clean. Joyce is a fabulous cook and made us a gourmet breakfast that was delicious. We will be back to Sherpards Joy! More
