This is a very nice hotel with a good breakfast. I travel a great deal and have stayed at hotels around the world. In the US I most often stay at Holiday Inn Express, but became acquainted with GuestHouse Inn in Hoquiam, Washington, so when I saw this one online, I decided to stay here. I was a little surprised... More

We found this place about 3 years ago. One reason we did is because they allow truck parking (bobtail). We keep coming back because the place is clean, the area has a lot of places to eat, and things to do. The staff has always been friendly. The only thing is that it used to have HBO when we started... More

Hello, Daustin808! Thank you so much for the kudos. You are the most important part of our business and you are the one we try day in and day out to please. Without our regular guests, we have nothing. I apologize for the lack of HBO. We made a decision recently, based on guest demand and other means of personal... More

I have been staying at the GuestHouse in Auburn for over three years, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I travel for a living, and my company offers us a choice of places to stay, and this is always my first choice. Sara at the front desk is the associate who sees to it that all my stays... More

I stayed here while on business travel to the Auburn area. Several folks advised me to grab the courtyard Marriott, but it was full so I tried this place out. For the price I was a little worried what I might get, but things turned out wonderfully! First off the staff is super friendly. Room was nice, bed was soft,... More

Stayed at this hotel because there was a power outage in our neighborhood due to very bad snow storm. The room they gave us had no heat, so my husband called down to office and they sent up someone to fix it, he said it was fixed so we went to bed and woke up freezing around 6am. Called down... More

Hello, Christy P. I am sorry that you did not have a pleasant guest experience when you stayed with us during the storm last week. I realize that it was an extreme inconvenience for you to have your heater fail and that is precisely the reason that I refunded your night's stay in full. Based on the severity of the... More

It's about 8-12 miles from Tacoma, but this place is worth the drive. Very clean, good price and breakfast included. Also, I love the peace and quiet. More

I loved this place!! They serve cookies at 6 pm, they have a full breakfast in the morning (make your own waffles, etc.), they have a hot tub (had been driving ALL DAY), it's clean, the staf was awesome, I got a great price on my room, and the location was nice being downtown but not on the main drag.... Everyone was very friendly here. And the room was very clean and comfortable and had a small refrigerator and microwave, which was very helpful. The location of the hotel made it very easy to get to the Seattle area or south to the Mt Rainier area. The breakfast was fresh every morning and included hot items like fresh waffles, breakfast... The price we paid for a room with two queen beds was very reasonable which also included breakfast. Although our room was right across from the elevator and behind a vending machine, we didn't hear any noise from the neighbours nor the vending machine and elevator. In our family vacation trip, we stayed in Red Lion, Olympia and Super8, Woodburn... More

Jsocan! I love that you were able to experience a few other hotels prior to ours... that speaks volumes to travelers who don't want to hassle with anything less than the best. Savvy consumers know value when they see it. When choosing a hotel, there is more to consider than just rate. Does the hotel offer free Wi-Fi? Does it... More

No reservations were made for one night of our Washington vacation. We stumbled upon this gem. It's not new but so clean and the staff made us feel like family. The breakfast was good and everything was great here. Bed was comfy. You won't regret staying here. More
