hotel name now Crown Palais, in the center of Hamamatsu city. easy access, 2min walking from bus station and shinkansen terminal old hotel but still OK, clean, nice aircon, nice breakfast. surrounding by mall, restaurant, and places for sightseeing.

We only stayed at the Meitetsu Hotel for 1 night. Please be warned that the Meitetsu Hotel has changed its name recently to the Crown Palais, which we didn't know when we got there so that made it a lot harder to find. The hotel was pretty good overall. It was definitely very nicely located for a family. Restaurants are closely located, so was the Shinkansen.The hotel was a little overpriced for being located in Hamamatsu City. The breakfast was just fantastic, both western and Japanese stuff was there. My son loved the miso soup for breakfast. I would definitely go back there... More
