Very friendly, great localization and very affordable. Ania, Alexandre and Felipe are very helpful and make you feel at home, in a good and at-easy way. It's clean, great breakfast and again, the people are always helpful and explain anything you need to know about the city.

Top location, right on Pelourinho square. The breakfast was very good, they serve best fruit juices we've tried in Brazil. We stayed in private room nr 5 and it was lovely, we loved vintage floral bed sheets. Plus very friendly people, Anna and Alexandre were always ready to help us with a smile on their face.

Pais Tropical is very conveniently located, has good breakfast, and there's nothing is lacking in terms of facilities. Overall, there's no reason not to stay here. Great location in the middle of historical center, gives You possibility to feel the atmosphere of the Brazilian city. The place is excellent for open people, looking for fun rather than quiet. First I want to mention that there’s a Samba/Percussion school on the bottom floor of this building. Loud--very loud music was often played non-stop between 10am-7pm and could be heard throughout the pousada.
