- Blue Tree Hotel Salvador

Average hotel with a wonderful view
Good: The view was amazing ! From the room and from the rooftop where the pool is located (don't forget to go there). Nice breakfast! A lot of food, including local food (tapioca is delicious) with , again, a great view.

We stayed at the Golden Tulip for two nights in December 2011. Golden Tulip it wasn't, it would be more accurate to call it the Withered Corm. It was a massive disappointment. I suppose we had been spoiled by coming directly from the fabulous Das Cataratas at Iguacu and we knew from Trip Advisor reviews and ratings not to expect...

This hotel was booked by SouthAmerica.travel. I traveled to Rio, Iguacu and Salvador, and this hotel was part of that tour.
I had a standard room which did not have a view of the ocean, and I tried to upgrade, but they said all the rooms were filled. So I had to take an elevator down to a lower level...

This hotel is excelently located with a marvelous vie of the ocean. However it's old and from the lobby to the rooms is lacking a complete renovation as well as the pool that is closed and under renovation.

This Hotel was OK. We expected a pool but it is under construction. It does not state anywhere that there isn't a pool. Make sure to check!

This hotel is the best options that I had in Salvador. I stayed in february 2010, and it is one of the best options in Salvador, great cost-quality relation. When you swim you can see the city and the sea! It's calm, so you can relax a lot! The service is good too! I recommend!
