This is a beautiful pousada, right in the heart of the old city of Salvador. It was clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet given the location. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard fare, and nice enough. Would recommend it to others. More

We had a nice room overlooking the bay and harbour incl. a romantic sundown from the nice balcony. Vila Carmo is ocated in walking distance from all attractions in Pelourinho. Especially the Bahia breakfast is great. Room is a little run-down and sanitary facilities are a bit smelly. Enjoyed it anyhow. More
