Othon is a good standard hotel and very well located. Rooms are uncommonly big (because this is an old hotel I suppose). Furniture in the room is kind of old but overall clean. Good location downtown, but that is about all this hotel has going for it. Over priced, rather tired looking rooms, expensive wifi and the food very average. The rooms all face on to the main road, so even on the 20th floor, it was very noisy day and night.

OLD OLD OLD is how I would descibe this place and again misreprested by the Brazilan rating systen What a rip off I really felt taken by this hotel to say the least I would never stay there agin and advise everyone to steer clear of it as well. !!!

The hotel isn't fancy but the location and large-sized rooms are perfect for dropping your bags and seeing the city. It is next door to the awesome Sunday morning market and across the street from the municipal park. The front desk staff speak English and are very helpful. There is a complete breakfast buffet with something for everyone.
