My stay was for four nights on business. Hotel staff is very friendly, rooms are reasonably sized, but the one I had was to the main street and 'used' - the same applies to the bathroom. I stayed here February 2005 and cannot speak too highly of the staff, they were excptionally helpful to a lone, disabled woman traveller. The breakfast buffet was a feast for the eyes as well as the body. I had a view of the Amazon from my very comfortable room. More

The Regente is a wonderful bargain for the price. Perfectly comfortable rooms, especially those designated luxo, with all the necessities. A good restaurant and an excellent breakfast. The coffee is perfect, and the music selection just right (usually Djavan!). Best things about it: the great and helpful staff, and the location, which is a short walk from all the action... More
