- Located in Laranjeiras, one of the most pleasant and safe neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro, this small Art Deco lodge is ready to receive students, tourists or any other traveler who is seeking for comfort and quality associated with low prices. Only 7 minutes away from the subway (tube station / Metrô), almost in front of a bus and a cab stop, our Hostel is located amidst the most beautiful attractions of the Cidade Maravilhosa - Lapa, Santa Teresa, Christ the Redeemer, Aterro do Flamengo, Sugar Loaf, Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon Beaches, among others - and dists a few miles from Santos Dumont Airport and Novo Rio Bus Station. Accommodations The Hostel is designed to shelter, with comfort, 34 guests, distributed in rooms with 2, 3, 4 and 6 bunk beds, which will be filled according to the composition of the groups or the order of guests arrivals. Facilities.Our lodge has facilities newly refurbished, consisting of collective rooms, all equipped with bunk beds, high quality bed linens and mattresses, air conditioning sets and private lockers, telephone sets and reading lamps, as well. For guests conveniences, we offer also a 42’ LCD television set; cable TV; DVD; computer; board games and playing cards, all located near to our 24 hours Front Desk and microwave oven, drinking fountain, with free purified water, in the kitchen. Guests may use the kitchen to prepare lunch and dinner, although frying food is not allowed. At the end of each meal they must take responsibility for doing the dishes and cleaning up the space. Our Hostel will also store, in it’s refrigerator, small quantities of guests perishable foods. Breakfast The breakfast, fully served and available for guests from 07:00 am to 10:00 am, consists of two kinds of bread, scrambled eggs with sausage, cheese, ham, butter, jam, cream cheese, honey, juice, yoghurt, coffee, milk (hot and cold), teas, chocolate, corn flakes, “granola” (cereals), apple, banana, papaya, biscuits and cake, among other tidbits from Brazilian cuisine. Check-in and Check-out Check-in shall be made from 12:30 pm and it can be anticipated, if beds are available. Check-out shall occur at 12 pm and may be delayed if there is availability of beds to accommodate new guests. Payment Policy The payment shall be done in advance, at check-in time, when will be charged an extra fee to cover losses and damages, which will be fully refunded at check-out, when guests must return bed sheets, locker key and other things borrowed, by our Hostel, during their stay in the City. ... more less
