We have stayed in some dingy budget hotels before, but this one takes the prize. No cupboards, painted brick breakfast nook in room, overpowering smell of citronella, presumably to get rid of bugs. Tacky, pink curtains and bed covers. Very far from attractions. Expensive, but accepted that Carnaval pushes up the prices. Only stayed one night, then moved to nice...
