My fault as I went for the Mercure A1 Club points and didn't check TripAdvisor first. The hotel kindly organised a car to meet me at the airport. Walking distance to IPANEMA and shopping area. Clean, staff speak good English and helpful. Sofa was OK for 1 to sleep in, could be noicy at night sometimes. Small pool. Costly.
