Stayed in Rio for business for 3 nights, very impressed with the hotel from check-in all the way to check-out. The hotel is in a great location just on Copacabana Beach, with the beach 3 minutes walk from the front of the hotel (you need to cross a main road to the beach but simple and safe). There is good... My first time in Rio de Janeiro and the Windsor Atlantica gave a very good impression of the city. Located right in front of the Copacabana beachfront, it provided a convenient access to the walking/jogging path along the beach. Service was excellent in the hotel including the dining rooms. Rooms were very spacious and provided a great view of the... More

Ok, it's not often that you go on vacation and stay at the very same hotel as a Prince. Yes, Prince Harry - THE Prince Harry - was staying at the very same hotel during my stay AND I got to see him! But that doesn't impact my ratings :-) But it does give you a pretty good indication of... More

Stayed there for a week due to business. To be honest I had higher expectation than the reality was. In general the location was excellent, just by the beach, everything needed was close by. The standard room was spacious with very comfortable bedding! Everything needed was available, so the room gets high rating for sure! And the view from 37th... More

Location is prime, it's the tallest building on Copacabana (at one end though, so be prepared to walk some distance if you want to go to the other end!). There are 2 pools, one on a low floor, in the shade in the morning, and another one (small) on the roof, with a view over the beach and the mountain.... More

Stayed at the Windsor Atlantica for two nights in April on business travel. The hotel itself isn't terribly remarkable in terms of furnishings or luxury. It's not bad and has been updated in the past couple years, but it's nothing spectacular. Nice views of Copacabana beach. Definitely visit the rooftop pool and bar area. The only element that I found... More

Overall stayed at hotel for nearly a month. First experience checking into hotel was not good as manager was extremely unhelpful had to drive around for 15 minutes Trying to get cash to pay taxix as hotel would not exchange my currency. The room had nice view but had to pay a lot for slow Internet connection which didn't always... More

Sitting on a prime location right across from Copacabana beach, the hotel is very well managed, with fast check in, squeaky clean if somewhat small rooms, and a very good breakfast buffet. The hotel feels more like a Grand Central Train station. Hordes come in & out all the time, filling the lobby with tons of suitcases, airline crew, Tour... More

Stayed here for ten days in Jan this yr. The rooms are a bit underwhelming compared to the lobby and a trip around three different tiers (i eventually ended up in a superior deluxe i think) showed that the price differential was only for a change in view (beach or not...), the rooms themselves are all practically identical. Once used... More

Great place to stay in Rio, convenient location, recently renovated, and fantastic staff. Spa was average but everything else was top notch. Staff was great always there to take care of all your needs. The beds weren’t the greatest, but then again, who’s sleeping in Rio. I would definitely book this hotel again when in Rio. More
