I stayed here for 2 nights after staying at the Hotel Vermont (around the corner) as part of a tour. This hotel was infinitely better. Very friendly, welcoming service on arrival. “Expensive for a three stars hotel, but it’s my favorite three stars hotel in Ipanema.”

The best thing you can get from there it is the service; the rest has a “high level” status of three stars hotel. Do you want/need fancy sheets, fancy pillows and a fancy beach view balcony? Then I will recommend you the Fasano Hotel, which is right next to it.

Stayed during a business trip. Lack of WiFi was a big disadvantage. No cofee/Tea facility in the room and with breakfast starting at 06:30 AM, a big inconvenience for early risers like me. Even the breakfast is nothing special except for the selection of fresh fruits.
